Most reporting debates are really definition debates. Agree what a metric means, document its lineage, and meetings shift from arguing about numbers to acting on them.
Tie every view to an action
A dashboard should answer "what should we do, and by when?" If a view doesn't change a decision, it is overhead. Decision intelligence means designing for the action, not the artifact.
